What to expect from the organizing team at The Orderly Sort

  • We create a plan with the team

  • We gather the needed organizing supplies and try to bring along anything we’ll need

  • We arrive ready to work at 9:00 am

  • We walk the space with you, discuss the plan, make any adjustments, and then get to work quickly

  • We pull everything out, sorting into categories as we go

  • We go through categories with you to determine what can stay and what can go

  • We clean the area - wipe down counters, shelves, baseboards, etc.

  • We assess categories, test the product in the space that makes the most sense, and make sure the function is optimal

  • We place your items back into the newly designed system

  • We thoughtfully label to complement the organization system and give that finishing touch

  • We take the trash out for you

  • We load up a vehicle with the donations and drop them off for you (we’ll get a receipt upon request)

  • We do a walk-through with you to explain the system and how to maintain the organization

Services are $85.00 per hour, per organizer. The minimum is 5 hours.

  • Yes. Your privacy is very important to us and we’ll never share your name or private details of your home with anyone.

  • It can vary. The amount of work needing to be done as well as your speed in making decisions are two factors that’ll determine the time it takes to complete the project. During the video consultation we can give you an estimate of how long it could possibly take.

  • We’ll never force or try to convince you to get rid of anything and won’t judge your choices. We’re here to help meet the goals you have for your space and organize your items in a way that’ll make your home function better for you.

  • No. We can certainly use what you already own. However, if you do decide you’d like new baskets, bins, containers, etc. we can get the measurements of the spaces that could benefit from product and bring needed supplies with us.

  • No. Our all-inclusive services include the extras that many other organizers charge additional fees for such as a virtual consultation, one donation and trash haul-away, product research and planning, etc.

  • No. However, when it comes to decision making about what you want to keep, give away, or toss, you’ll make those decisions. We’ll discuss the plan at the beginning of the project to be sure we’re clear on your goals, but then we’ll take it from there and check in with you as needed.

  • We’re based out of Wake Forest, NC and regularly serve clients throughout The Triangle area. However, we’re happy to travel wherever you’re located! There’s a fee for drive time that exceeds 60 minutes round trip.
